Organic foods have higher nutritional value than conventional food, according to nutritionists.
The reason: In the absence of pesticides and fertilizers, plants boost their production of the phytochemicals (vitamins and antioxidants) that strengthen their resistance to bugs and weeds.
Organic and natural foods do not contain pesticides, chemicals such as fungicides, herbicides, and insecticides which are widely used in conventional agriculture. Their residues remain on (and in) the food we eat and are considered unhealthy for the human body. Organic food is often fresher because it doesn’t contain preservatives that make it last longer.
Our ancestors started farming in 1860. Our farms are located near Thamirabarani river belt kanadian canal. We have continued farming ever since and value farming highly. All our organic rice varieties are cultivated using natural nutritional input including manures and others instead of chemical fertilizers.
Our mission is to produce food naturally by replacing inorganic fertilizers with pancha kavya (a mixture of cow pid, turmeric, yogurt, neem seeds and leaves) and replacing pesticides with sprays made of neem seeds and neem oil which effectively control pests. Our farming methods do not involve use of any form of hybrid seeds or chemicals.
